AI took over the internet & we’ve all started to use it one way or another.
What was once impressive even to someone who doesn’t care about art is now standard to see.
There seems to be more people who use their given AI tools to make the content for them instead of the AI tools helping them with the content they want made.
Despite “AI slop” cluttering the field entirely, it’s made it harder for anyone to be a full time project based artist. Ironic, because it’s never been easier to do what you want.
It’s not just AI, though. It’s years of mass media - it’s not the same, it’s not innovative which it once was.
The new era for the artists, creatives & designers is here & the way to make that a great thing is to adapt and foremost fix what was objectively lacking in the first place.
A close friend of mine suggested the idea that art now officially became an integral part of business, not hiring artists/creatives to do it. Because it’s so easy to just download the editing apps & do the designs for either cheap or free.
Judging by that -
great art is the standard. A brand is a entry level concept & the artist & it’s contribution along with their product is the new focus.
Ironically, without popularity or being on the influencer PR list.
What is the one common aspect of the everyday artists which is noticeably passed it’s due date?
That would be the popularity based creating,
drug fueled concepts, visuals, thoughts, communication etc.
The stigma within full time artisty in mass media is officially losing it’s members, what’s staying is true talent & persistance in the field of marketing.
What should the artist obtain and stand behind in 2025 & after?
Health, both physical and mental maintenance. Drugs, alcohol & loose morality has been the inspiring factor for so long that it’s gotten oversaturated anyway,
customized social media model as opposed to spamming with what you see from others hoping it brings you good results,
Investing in marketing aka figuring out your marketing budget & run ads the moment you need them, even if it’s once or twice a month,
Visiting local manifestations such as seminars, networking events etc if that seems fit as well as sharing that experience across your platforms,
Using tools such as Chat GPT to help you instead of actually create for you,
Humanitarian contribution if possible, it’s not like artistry in multiple forms wasn’t based around the global events & local circumstances. Especially if you’re in the public eye sharing how you can contribute can be considered a must.
Networking with people you want to work with as opposed to pushing it where it’s about getting views through clickbait.
Thank you for reading.
